Summit Petroleum (M) Sdn Bhd, was incorporated in 1969 became part of KUB community when it was acquired by KUB Malaysia Berhad in May 2003.

The Company is engaged in the bottling, marketing and distributing of LPG for use by households as cooking gas and for industrial use under the brand name SOLAR GAS. Main markets are concentrated in the North, Central and South of Peninsular Malaysia. The filling plants are located at Westport Pulau Indah in the Central , Prai in the North and Johor Bahru in the South.

The pride of Summit Petroleum is their newest ocean terminal-cum-bottling plant in Westport, Pulau Indah. Commissioned in May, 1999 it has some of the most advance and latest technology for LPG filling.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 


  
Mohd Yunus Shamsudin

Mohd Yunus Shamsudin, joined Summit Petroleum(M) Sdn Bhd as General Manager in January 2004.

He holds a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering from University of Brighton, Sussex (UK).

He has 32 years of working experience in Oil & Gas industries and was attached to Exxon Mobil Malaysia for 28 years.  He has  a vast experience in Internal Control System in various divisions of Exxon Mobil. He attended intensive courses in LPG Safety Technology in Arlington (UK) and Singapore and courses in Petroleum Economic and Logistic.  He also attended LPG Conferences in Kunming, Doha and Abu Dhabi.
Chong Tien Fook

Chong Tien Fook, joined Summit Petroleum(M) Sdn Bhd as Senior Operation Manager in January 1998.

He holds a Bachelor of Chemical Engineering from University Teknologi Malaysia.

He has 15 years of working experience in LPG Sector and was involved in the design and start up of the hi-tech LPG bottling plant in Westport.  He also has a vast experience in ISO and OSHAS audit and certification.
Helmy Shahrul Zakaria

Helmy Shahrul Zakaria, has joined Summit Petroleum(M) Sdn Bhd as Production Manager in June 1997.

He holds a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering from University Teknologi Malaysia.

He has 15 years of working experience in various industries specifically in project management and LPG industry. Previously he was attached to KUB Power Sdn. Bhd.
Zarina Ab Hamid

Zarina Ab Hamid, has joined Summit Petroleum(M) Sdn Bhd as Senior Manager Finance & Corporate Services in September 2010.

She is a Chartered member of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants since 1996.  She holds a Bachelor in Accounting (Hons) from University Utara Malaysia. 

She has 18 years of working experience in various industries specifically in Accounts and Finance.  Previously she was attached to Mardec Berhad.
